    This past weekend we made a trip down to Pattaya.  Pattaya is a beach town located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand.  Pattaya is a popular beach resort – attracting over 4 million visitors a year.  It is located just over 2 hours outside of Bangkok.

    I am writing this blog as Chad, Jack and Anna sleep and as Sam gets ready to do his favorite thing (swim).  These poor tortured creatures are recovering from a day spent strutting around what has to be the hottest place on earth:  Phnom Penh.

    Last week Chad traveled to South Korea.  Chad was happy about this trip for one very big reason:  IT IS COLD IN KOREA!  This month marked the beginning of the Bangkok “hot season,” with temperatures reaching 100 degrees on some days (an increase from the normal 90-95).  In Korea it was 40.

      The grandparents are in town!  We decided to take Grandma and Pop-Pop to one of our favorite places in Thailand, the Dolphin Bay Resort.  Dolphin Bay Resort is located in Ban Sam Roi Yat, just south of Hua Hin.
