Chad took a solo trip to Nakhon Ratcha Sima or “Korat,” Thailand this week.  Korat is actually the name of the old city located in the same area that is now Nakhon Ratcha Sima – but many locals still refer to the area as Korat.  Korat is about 4 hours from Bangkok.

On the way back from Ko Si Chang we had to go through Sri Racha (which is where the ferry from Ko Si Chang drops off passengers and where you can catch the bus back to Bangkok).  Sri Racha is home to a “tiger zoo.”

We have been in Bangkok for about three weeks now.  So far we have been spending our time in Thailand traveling around Bangkok and the surrounding villages.  One of our first trips with the boys was to Damnoen Saduak, a small village approximately two hours South West (100km) of Bangkok in Ratchamburi province.
