I’m lazy. In lieu of blog post, please accept this photo collage. Let’s be honest, that’s what you’re here for anyway…
Phú Quốc is a large Vietnamese island located in the Gulf of Thailand near Cambodia. It’s known for its picturesque views of blue-green water and colorful local fishing boats. Sun Group, one of the largest real estate developers in Vietnam; known for developing resorts and tourist attractions, built a cable car on the island, known as the longest in the world. The cable car transits from the main island to a water park on Pineapple Island (Hon Thom Island).Ruth always enjoys a good cable car.Emmeline, too. But especially Quentin Lee. The views from the cable car capture the large number of boats along the coast.Other attractions: zoo safari and a decent night market (slightly reduced due to COVID). Our favorite nanny Cô Chinh. Ready for bus safari. Lions, oh my. Bright lights of the local night market. Yes, Sam is wearing a full suit. Seafood BBQ selection. Local dried goods. Snorkeling is another fun thing to do…just look at that water! Emmeline really wanted to do the jet ski, because she’s insane. Captain Emmeline. A beach stop between snorkeling. We snorkeled at two islands and went to two beaches. Clear water.Views on shore. Emmeline playing with the food.Proof that we are skilled.Local lunch. Our catch. Lots of shellfish. Jack wasn’t too into it. Sam was.Sunsets at the resort were perfect. My Instagram model, Anna Lynn. My other model, when she stays still long enough for me to snap her.Our private pool and villa at the Best Western. Quentin is always happiest in the water. So many sea creatures. Hermits. Coconuts are plentiful in Vietnam. Ok, bunch of photos of a baby I know……because……who……doesn’t……love……a baby……at the beach!?Or a toddler as life guard?Or a relaxing gremlin? We already miss these sunsets.
