Bicycles at Benjakitti Park.

While we were riding around Bang Krachao yesterday we promised Sammy we would go to the park and rent some “kid’s bikes” so that he could have his chance to cruise around.

We decided to rent bikes at Benjakitti park. Benjakitti park is located in the Sukhumvit section of the city. We can access the park from the “green mile” (an elevated sidewalk that connects Lumphini park and Benjakitti park). Benjakitti is comprised of walking/biking paths surrounding a large lake. We walked over to Benjakitti park and rented kids bikes for 40 baht (1.20 USD) and rode loops around the lake until nap time. Sam was super excited to get the chance to ride a bike again (“Mommy, can we buy this?”) and did not want to stop (“Mommy, I wanted a longer race”). Jack was a good sport and had fun chasing Sammy with daddy. He got some good pedals in. In a few more months he will be a pro.
