Chad’s Trip to Burma (Inle Lake Boat Tour).

Chad is wrapping up his visit to Inle Lake. Yesterday he went on a boat tour of a local water village and checked out some of the local small businesses (lotus weaving shop, cigar shop, preschool and cat preserve). Inle Lake is located in the Shan state.  Burma is subdivided into states much like the US (instead of provinces like we have in Thailand).  The lake region is the only area of the Shan state which tourists may visit.  The rest of the state is off-limits to travel.
